Past President's Message

Hello APICS Calgary Membership,

I would like to congratulate Don on his newly appointted position as APICS Calgary Chapter President. It was great to see the excellent AGM turnout and all of you that voted for the board.

I want to reflect on the last few years and all the accomplishments and changes that has transpired in APICS and in the Supply Chain. It has been a pleasure working with the board and the membership in these acheivements. So I felt it was time for change and provide others with the opportunty.

Thank you all for the continued support of APICS Calgary and I will contnue to be a member and will be involved as Past President.

The best to Don, the board and all the membership.

Kind Regards,

David McCrea

President's Report

Hello APICS Members,

I would like to thank the memberships support for supporting me as APICS Calgary President.

This year has been a wave of change both in how Supply Chain is evolving in the global marketplace and especially with APICS evolving into ASCM. These changes has made the start of this year difficult on how we as a chapter will evolve with the ASCM change and the impact to the membership & chapter.

As the year is more than half way through, we are seeing a definitive direction and will be working these changes into the chapter and letting our membership know. The tours will continue and thanks to our APICS Calgary Student Chapter putting these on. The future of Supply Chain is bright with these excellent students coming into their own.

Thank you all.

Kind Regards,

Don McCrea

President APICS Calgary
